Tulum ruins are one of the best archaeological sites to visit in Mexico and there is no better way than getting there on a bike. Tulum is a really eco-friendly city, built to be a fortress for one of the major trading and religious center of the Mayan culture is a must-visit to everyone traveling to the Mexican Caribean who wants to experience something relaxing, cultural and connected to nature. Swimming in Tulum ruins is quite an experience, cool down in the beaches near the ruins, don´t forget to bring your swimsuit as it will be difficult to find shades around the ruins and you will really need to take a dive in the turquoise water. Get a bicycle with a basket that can fit all your needs and make sure to lock it properly.
